Eleanor Roma

Eleanor turned four this year.  We celebrated with Aunt Jodi and her cousin Molly by having lunch at the American Girl Doll store and then shopping at the Disney Store.  The clerk at the Disney stored surprised her with her name on the screen along with a birthday song.  Ella is such a sweet, happy little girl.  She likes to help me, no matter what I'm doing, loves to read books, and go to school.  She loves to sing and dance and is constantly making up new songs and twirling around the house.  Ella also hangs with the boys like a champ and makes a mean power ranger.  We love our sweet Ella Bella.

Sweet Baby Jane

Janey seriously got short changed for her birthday this year.  We celebrated it late and just had a little family party but, she seemed to think it was awesome.  One of the perks of having a 2 year old right?  Matt always says that if Jane ran for president in our family she would most definitely win.  Her siblings cater to her every need (so does her father).  So, she is a little spoiled, but we love her anyway. She is spunky and funny and smart and thinks she is five years old.  She works hard to keep up with her siblings and succeeds most of the time.  She has been a little upset since school started since she has to be home alone with me, but she has quickly figured out that there are a few perks to that.  I am loving having her as my tag along and enjoy every minute of it.  (usually)  We love her to death and are so glad she is part of our family.

Point Pleasant NJ.

We were lucky enough to be invited up for a long weekend to the beach in New Jersey.  It was our first trip to the Jersey shore and it was so much fun.  Thanks to our friends who made it such a wonderful weekend.

There was a carnival on the boardwalk followed by fireworks.  Are kids were in heaven.

The kids and I went parasailing.  It. Was. Awesome.  It's so quiet and peaceful once you get up in the air.

Jane, loved it.  She wanted to be in the water at all times

Movie outside on the big screen.

Ella got some serious beach hair.  You can't tell in the picture, but it was completely green.

Grandma Wakefield's funeral.

My Grandma passed away unexpectedly this summer.  I was so grateful that I got to go and see my family and celebrate her life.  She was such a great lady and we all miss her.

Matt, as usual was super Dad and took great care of the kids.  This was taken at Luray Caverns

Price, Utah Cemetery

Jane came with me and charmed everyone.

Grandma asked for a photo shoot before church on Sunday.

Jane got to meet Aunt Jane, who lives in texas.

I'm so glad I got to be there, I got to see aunts and uncles and cousins who I haven't seen in a really long time.

Junior Swim Team

We decided to join a pool for the first time this year.  It was so much fun and such a great thing for the kids.  The boys were able to be on the junior swim team and are both confident in the water now. The girls also loved it and I can almost trust Ella in the water.  Now, I just need to figure out how to keep Jane from drowning herself.

Aspen Colorado

Matt had to take a little work trip to Colorado and I decided I might as well tag along.  My brother and his wife watched our kids and we escaped for a few days.  We had so much fun hiking, river rafting, and being together without our sweet kids.  It's nice to be away from them for a while because then you  realize how much you really like them!

Isaac's baptism

Isaac was baptized on July 6, 2013.  We are so proud of him and his decision to be baptized.  He thought about it and prayed about his decision and decided that being baptized was the right thing for him to do.  It was such a special day full of Heavenly Father's spirit and we are so grateful that we were able to spend it with such special people.

Getting ready for the big day.

He looks a little nervous don't you think?

I love this picture.  My dad(on the left) looks like he is trying so hard not to cry.  We tease him a lot about his over-active tear ducts and it makes me happy that I caught it on camera.
Grandpa Tom and Grandma Kimmy bought Isaac a new set of scriptures.  He talked a lot about how excited he was to have his own set of scriptures.

Grandma Pete has made all of her grandchildren a baptism quilt.  Isaac was excited about his and has had it on his bed since he got it.
