A few things I've learned

I've learned a few things since our little Ella girl was born.
1. Having three kids is harder than two, but not as hard as I thought it would be.
2. Girls are different than boys.
3. I make really bad food choices when there are multiple children screaming at me.
4. Isaac is more grown up than I thought.
5. Miles is not as grown up as I thought. Bless Him.
6. I have the most wonderful family and friends in the world. Especially my Mom and sister who answer the phone even when I have already called 10 times that day.
7. I really do have the best job in the world, and I'm writing it down so I don't forget it the next time everyone is screaming at me and I'm shoving cookies in my mouth as fast as I can swallow them. ;)

A few more just for fun.

I know I've put up a ton of pictures but these ones are just so cute.
Grandpa Pete and Ella talking. My dad is the baby whisperer.

Miles is not the baby whisperer, but he tries. You can see how Ella feels about it.
You can tell by the way his mouth is shaped that his kisses usually leave quite the residue behind. Maybe that's the problem

Baby Blessing

Last Sunday (Nov. 1, 2009) this beautiful little girl was blessed. Matt did a beautiful job with the blessing and we felt so lucky to have so many friends, neighbors, and family there. She has been such a blessing in our family.

This was my blessing dress.

My mom picked out her shoes, aren't they cute. The blanket you can see in the background was one my Grandma Wakefield made for me when I was born.

Halloween

This is how excited Ella was for Halloween.

These are some pretty serious cowboys. Miles had a hard time keeping his hat on the right way.

Miles was hysterical while we put his chaps on. They were both so excited they couldn't hold still.

It's a good thing we brought the wagon.

Enjoying the spoils.

Grandparents Galore!!

We have been so lucky this past weekend. My mom and dad came into town on Wed. then Tom and Kim came Friday night. We have had so much fun and the boys have been feeling pretty lucky to have both sets of grandparents in town.

We went to Annapolis. It is such a pretty little town, we walked around the Naval Academy, ate some crab, and got rained on. It was a wonderful day.

On the Metro, going to see a few museums.

We went to the battlefield at Bull Run. It's a beautiful place and fun for the boys to be able to run around.

We took my parents to the Air and Space museum at the Dulles airport.

This Dress was my moms. It is just so beautiful and so special to have Eleanor wear it, especially since she was named after my mom (Eleanor Roma).

Random Happenings at Home

Gotta love the Fall
This was a self portrait. I just felt like I needed a picture of Eleanor with her cute bow on.

This is a Dinosaur tree.

Just Handsome

So, don't you think her hair looks red in this picture? It doesn't always look so red but here's hoping!!!

Cox Farms

We went with some friends to Cox Farms. We had a blast, and the boys have been asking to go back ever since.Pumpkin Heads

This is our good buddy Brooks, isn't he cute.
